bento #69: pancetta/mozzarella/basil baked pinwheels


Pillsbury makes something called “Recipe Creations” that I just found out about. It’s like their crescent rolls, but without seams, so it’s a solid sheet of dough. Cut it into 4 rectangles, layer whatever fillings you want, roll it up, press to seal, cut into 4 rolls, and bake at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes. I have a feeling this is going to become a bento staple.

Jumbo green olives stuffed with bleu cheese and romanito tomatoes.

Tangelo, chcocolate-covered cashews, and a couple of Raffaello candies.
